Bidding farewell to Changsha, “The Mystery of the Ancient Shu Kingdom Cultural Relics Unearthed at Sanxingdui Site and Jinsha Site” Coming to Zhoushan
The landscape in Sichuan is endowed with the fine spirits of the universe. Along with the discovery and excavation of Sanxingdui and Jinsha Sites, the history of ancient Shu was uncovered from dust-laden ground of thousand years. The mass of mysterious treasures of ancient Shu was revealed and shocked the world, powerfully proving that the Ba and Shu area centering on the Chengdu Plain is the center of the ancient civilization at upper stream of the Yangtze River and an important origin of Chinese civilization. Sanxingdui culture and Jinsha culture fill the blank of the evolution sequence of Chinese culture, from which numerous types of cultural relics were unearthed with exquisite technique, profound connotation and distinctive styles, showing a colorful and wonderful ancient Shu society in many aspects. To make more audience have a taste of the intelligence of ancient Shu people and the mystery and magnificence of Sanxingdui and Jinsha, our museum particularly launches “The Mystery of the Ancient Shu Kingdom –Cultural Relics Unearthed at Sanxingdui Site and Jinsha Site” nationwide in cooperation with Sanxingdui Site Museum.
